The advantage of the Lil' Tex is its relatively small cooking chamber. This allows for faster heating to cooking temperature and burning less pellets. The Lil Tex comes with an extended hopper (hopper extension not needed) and the uses approximately 2/3 of a pound of pellets per hour, about 24-28 hours of cooking at a low temperature without refilling the hopper.
This is an upgraded version of the Lil Tex. The "Elite" comes with a powder coated bronze grill door (picture shows stainless steel upgrade), hinged hopper lid, and an aluminum door handle. A bigger hopper, easy to read dome thermometer, viper casters, and viper wheels round out the amazing standard features of the Lil' Tex Elite. This model is sure to set the barbecue world on fire!
